I'm not even going to pretend to be cool or teenage-unaffected about this.
If you've read some of my earlier entries, you might be familiar with the fact that I have quite an unnatural obsession with Matt Singer and Alison Wilmore (pictured above), critics and pocasters for IFC. They have a weekly podcast available through iTunes that is an absolute MUST LISTEN for any film fan. My iPod has over 60 pocasts from them on it, and I listen to at least one of them (and I'm not kidding) pretty much everyday.
Why am I mentioning this? Well, at the end of this week's podcast on 80's nostalgia in modern pop culture, they read some feedback sent to them about last week's podcast on film chemistry. And you know what? THEY READ MY EMAIL!
After laughing about the comment/joke I opened my email with, they proceed to agree with me that Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet had great romantic chemistry in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
There's nothing like having your name read on . . . air(?) by your two heroes to improve your mood on a sucky day.
Anyway, you can listen to the podcast here. They read my letter when there's approximately 3 or so minutes remaining, but I'd really encourage you to listen to the whole thing.
(I'm William . . . by the way)

That's twice you've trumped me in the fame stakes. *sulks*
:)
This is how sad my life is.
Congratulations! I listen to the IFC 'cast too, and it's a good one (when they've actually seen the movies they're discussing, that is...)
