I KNOW! I'm way behind. What do you want from me? I'm going to spend the entire Christmas holiday in movie theatres.
I also haven't seen American Gangster, In the Valley of Elah, Eastern Promises, or Lust, Caution, but I'm not in a particular rush to see those.
And I guess I should see La Vie en Rose at some stage but . . . eh

And I don't think [Secret Sunshine] does yet, but it'll probably be non-Academy released in '08.
Considering only four of them have actually been released in Australia as of now...
I've actually seen 3 of the 4 and I really need to get to Melb to see 4 Months.... Into the Wild wasn't that great, but I kind of hated the lead character so maybe that's why. Control and Away from Her are very good, but if your resources are limited (as in $$$ and time) then perhaps they could be saved for DVD without losing much impact.
Away From Her is already on DVD in the states, or should be close.
And honestly, I'm on the fence about Into the Wild. I don't expect to love it, but if I have time
I've been particularly bad this year at movie catch up too. I've only seen 3 of all those you listed and 2 were mainly because of free screenings. Man, I've got a lot to catch up with...
"if i have time" well it is, like, two and a half hours or something. It needn't be that long but it is.
Sadly, I found Enchanted a big disappointment, except for the wildly charming James Marsden. The rest... meh.
